We live in a time where gaming is more ingrained in pop culture. It’s fascinating as a 31-year-old to go outside and see so many people wearing clothes representing their favorite games. It makes me want to do the same, so I searched on Amazon and searched for Summer gamer clothes I’d wear in different situations.
Just some criteria before we start: Even if I had the confidence to rock gamer clothes, I’d still need them to be discreet since that’s my overall style. However, if I’m going to the beach, I wouldn’t mind bringing a more colorful shirt.
Also, I have a daughter, so whenever possible, I‘ll pitch in an option for her and her mom!

Pokémon
The first choice is borderline for me. I love the design and the fact that it’s in black and white since I don’t like being the center of attention. I might just need something a bit more discreet for my other picks:
The hats, however, meet my discreet criteria. The only problem here is the pricing. If it were on sale, I’d buy one in a heartbeat:
The last Pokémon item is for the girls in my life. It’s the perfect combo (Pikachu is always a safe bet):
Legend of Zelda
This one is my cup of tea. I love collared-shirts like this and the golden embroidered logo blends in very well:
This next option, however, might surprise you. You wouldn’t catch me wearing this in broad daylight, but during a summer Medieval Fair in my city’s castle? All I need is to grab a group of buddies and we’d all go dressed like this:
Depending on where you are from, summer nights might not always be hot, especially on my country’s beaches. So here’s a great hoodie I’d wear for those chillier nights:
Metroid
For Metroid, I have two options here. One is a bit more colorful and I’d have no problem wearing it on my way to the beach. The other is a little bit flashier but it’s in black and white, making it more discreet:
Animal Crossing
This is a must for my beach holidays. Like I said before, I don’t mind colorful clothing on the beach. This is borderline for me, but it screams summer vacations:
Super Mario
I wanted to finish this with a banger with Super Mario, but honestly there weren’t that mant options. I found these two that I liked and would probably wear if I had to go to the beach, a casual walk or the groceries.
