THINGS TO DO IN POKÉMON ULTRA SUN/MOON
So, you have become Alola’s new champion and have defeated Team Rainbow Rocket. Now, you must think that you are done with the game but I assure you that there is much more you can do! I have made a list of a couple things that you should really try doing to expand your adventure. Do not think you are done with Alola just yet!
1. COMPLETING THE POKÉDEX
This one is quite obvious. If you play a Pokémon game you should try completing the PokéDex. It might be a little bit harder than Pokémon Sun/Moon since there are more Pokémon to catch this time around but believe when I say that the reward is worth it! You will get a Shiny Charm that boosts the chances of encountering a Shiny Pokémon. And this leads the next point on the list!
2. SHINY HUNTING
Getting a shiny is something very exciting but it can be frustrating sometimes since the odds are so low. However, in this game, there was introduced a new method of Shiny Hunting by traveling through the Ultra Wormhole in Solgaleo’s or Lunala’s back. All you have to do is travel has further as you can while collecting orbs to gain speed. Once you see a portal with rainbow edges enter it and pray for a shiny! Just make sure you travel around 3,000 light years away! Also, you can save your game before the encounter!
3. FIND ALL THE TOTEM STICKERS
As you know there are100 Totem Stickers scattered around Alola. If you find all of them you will be rewarded with this awesome Totem Pokémon which are huge! Some Totem Pokémons are exclusive to each version though. Pokémon Ultra Sun gets Gumshoos, Marowak, Lurantis, Vikavolt, and Rimbombee and Pokémon Ultra Moon gets Raticate, Araquanid, Salazzle, Togedemaru, and Kommo-o. However, both versions get Mimikyu since it is a fan favorite. Good luck to find all the Totem Stickers!
4. BECOME THE SURFING CHAMPION
Surfing with a Mantine is awesome, it is hands-down one the best features in this game. But do you know what is even awesome? The reward you get after you become the surfing champion. You will get a Pikachu that knows Surf! After I got mine I had to name it Puka, I could not resist!
6. DEFEAT ALL TRAINERS
This should be easy for you. All you have to do is defeat all trainers in the game. If you go to Mount Lanakila there is an NPC that tells you in which routes that are trainers left to defeat. After you defeat all the trainers you will be able to battle the NPC! At least that is what he says.
7. CONQUERING THE BATTLE TREE
If you like battling then you have come to the right place! There is nothing more challenging than conquering the Battle Tree! And if you have a friend to play with you can both test your skills in the Multi Battles! Since I have no one to play with right now I think Lilie will have to do!
And that is it for now! Seven things that you can do after you are done with the main story. Of course that there are a few more things you can do like reaching max grade in the Battle Agency, leveling your Festival Plaza or even test your battling skills online against other players. It is up to you to decide what you like doing the most!
